Poetry ~ "There is nothing permanent except change " / Janki U Tondon

There Is Nothing Permanent Except Change
It's inevitable, I understood,
It happened when I dreaded it the most.
It took away all I got used to,
And in turn, gave me knowledge,
That nothing is permanent except change.

I ran and ran but it followed me everywhere,
Chanting 'Embrace me don’t escape me.'
It came every time taking my comfort with it,
Leaving in its wake dread and uneasiness.
I tried to escape but got caught in the calls,
Of voices that said let's change it all.

I lowered my defences and let it in,
To let the world know that I am not afraid.
And instead of dread, I felt comfort,
And with it came knowledge,
That nothing is permanent except change.

Now I live the change, I breathe the change,
In fact, I change the change.
It's inevitable, I understood,
It happened when I dreaded it the most.

Theme/ Summary

In the words of Poetess Janki U Tondon , "Change is the only constant. Change alone is unchanging. It may scare us but in the end it is our truth. We can run from it but no matter what it is our reality. We can dread it, deny it, disregard it but it always catches up with us, for it is inevitable."
"The prevailing times of COVID-19 have shook our lives. Life as we knew it has ceased to exist. In these trying times, change is the only thing that we can rely on."

Article ~ 'Gardening as a Hobby'

"Do you love to do Gardening?" ~ By Gurpreet Kaur ~ " The love of gardening is a seed once sown that never dies."                                        -  Gertrude Jekyll Many of you love mowing your garden, trimming the hedge. How amazing feeling it is when your sown seed germinates & turned into a sapling. It's delicate green leaves breaths fresh life. You water it with your hands. Add manure time to time And within weeks/months it becomes a mature grown plant/tree with flowers and fruits.  I remember my school days, how we spent our time in gardening activity. Frankly speaking, I don't personally like doing it. But we all students  have to do it as its a necessary activity to do and it has great  importance in our Co-curricular grades. Making flower beds with stones and bricks, tilling, weeding, planting and sowing, watering the plants, Uprooting u...

Poetry ~ "Moonflower" / Chelsea Stawicki

Gentle enough so nightly, One star from above forms something so brightly, As the storm rolls with a single tear so gently. That cold tear doesn't just fade away, As it turns from blue to gray, Just tell me you will stay. Help me bloom to become like you, Something beautiful, something new... I won't just be one thing to be true. I will show you something different, Something magnificent! When you cry I awaken to bring you more, After all, you are adored. I will shine and glow, So I become white like the snow, During the night I will grow, Just like time and space from long ago. I am your reflection, I am beside you giving you affection, No matter where you are I give you my protection. We are beautiful, Pure and peaceful, Soul and wonderful. Goodnight my friend, I am here until the end, As we ascend, Hand by hand, Together. By Chelsea Stawicki
